Visit to Ngukurr Language Centre
My name is Milly and I’m a Wägilak person. When I first came to visit Roper River I felt uplifted and connected with my own people. I was really pleased to learn my own language Wägilak and also Ritharrŋu, and the history of my Wägilak people. I had my other four colleagues with me: Bulkanhawuy, Malŋumba,Salome and Celeste, they are very helpful kind and friendly people. And we also met people at Ngukurr Language Centre. We were very excited and happy to work with them on our journey.
