Since its establishment, Yolŋu Radio has long been broadcast on different frequencies in different communities around northeast Arnhem Land and Darwin.

Over the years plenty of locals have let us know about the inconvenience of the different frequencies so we approached the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), the body in charge of the radio spectrum in Australia, to transfer all frequencies to the same MHz. Following the approval and hard work by Yolŋu Radio team members, visiting communities and outstations to change the frequencies, no matter where you are, you can now listen to Yolŋu Radio on 88.9FM.

If you are close to mobile reception and do not have a radio device handy, download the Yolŋu Radio app on your mobile device, and tune in via online streaming!
