This dictionary includes over 300 legal terms in Djambarrpuyŋu and English. Djambarrpuyŋu is a Yolŋu language of northeast Arnhem Land, also sometimes referred to as a Dhuwal language.

This dictionary is designed to support lawyers, police, judges, and legal staff in communicating respectfully and effectively with Yolŋu.

For speakers of Djambarrpuyŋu, it provides access to legal concepts in their own language, making the legal system more approachable and understandable.
