ARDS welcomes Andrew to the team
ARDS has engaged Perth-based consultant Andrew Eastick to work within the organisation for three months to assist in building ARDS capacity to operate sustainable and profitable ethical businesses.
Andrew has been specifically asked to work with the Directors of ARDS to explore their views regarding ethical business development; develop an organisational strategic plan; workshop with key stakeholders to identify a range of potential business opportunities; and seek funding for those opportunities that are prioritised.
The work will include conducting strategic planning sessions with ARDS Directors leading to a refreshed strategic plan and to determine priorities for business development.
Andrew commenced his assignment with ARDS in late February and the work will be completed in mid-May.
Since leaving farming in South Australia in 1996, Andrew has had a diverse work history having worked at senior levels in regional economic development, tourism marketing, the resource sector (oil and gas), local government (elected member including Mayor and manager) and Aboriginal Corporations. Andrew worked in Darwin from 2007 to 2010 and again in 2013.
