A more mägayamirr community

A more mägayamirr community

ARDS is working with clan leaders in Galwin’ku to provide mediation and restorative justice for Yolŋu and Balanda in Galiwin’ku. Part of our job is to support clan leaders to meet and to help them communicate decisions they make in accordance with Yolŋu law.

We have been consulting with many different clans about how they would like to work with ARDS to develop a solid governance foundation for this significant project. Clan leaders are excited about the opportunity to make the community more mägayamirr (peaceful).

We will work with different Yolŋu and Balanda to find ways to resolve conflicts peacefully, make the community stronger, and learn new skills.
